About the Role:

The Associate HRBP is a pivotal role within our organization, focusing on aligning HR systems and processes with strategic business objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of the business and its operating environment to act as an effective strategic advisor to management. The role also entails sharing responsibility for enhancing business performance and ensuring the excellence of HR service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Implement and clarify HR policies to ensure understanding across the organization.
  • Handle disciplinary issues and grievances, maintaining fair and consistent processes.
  • Assist business leaders in effectively managing their teams.

Induction and On-boarding:

  • Develop HR induction content in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Conduct regular HR induction sessions.
  • Monitor the implementation of Business, Technical, and Customer Experience inductions.
  • Support business leaders in the onboarding of new joiners.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the implementation of performance management procedures, including target setting, appraisals, and bonus allocation.
  • Manage Performance Improvement Plans effectively.
  • Facilitate the integration of performance feedback into succession planning.

Learning and Development:

  • Promote organizational learning through knowledge sharing initiatives and sessions.
  • Source and manage external training providers following company guidelines.
  • Administer e-learning activities and manage bonding agreements.

Organizational Design & Development:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date Role Descriptions for all positions.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop career paths and understand interdepartmental dependencies.
  • Work towards business continuity by identifying successors for key roles.

Technical Competencies:

  • HR Administration: In-depth understanding of HR administrative processes and their impact on the business.
  • Performance Management: Skilled in implementing and managing performance review systems and improvement plans.
  • Learning and Development Management: Proficient in sourcing training opportunities and managing organizational learning initiatives.

Soft Skills:

  • Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Ethical Conduct: Commitment to ethical HR practices and confidentiality.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effective in managing and communicating with various stakeholders within the organization.
  • Communication: Excellent in both spoken and written English, able to articulate complex HR processes clearly.
  • Adaptability: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, showing flexibility and resilience.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR management, business, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in HR Business Partnering.
  • Experience in high-tech or engineering organizations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations and performance management tasks effectively.
  • Solid knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
