About the Role

As Director of Programs, you will be a strategic leader who can seamlessly integrate various program elements to maximize revenue generation and ensure a transformative experience for participants. Your focus will be on developing and implementing program content that not only meets the diverse needs of our participants but also enhances the profitability of our offerings. This pivotal role calls for a visionary leader adept at integrating diverse program elements, from immersive summit experiences to fostering lucrative partnerships with renowned authors and expert speakers. By implementing innovative strategies and leveraging technology, you'll optimize the overall profitability and success of the Mastery programs, ultimately driving business growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Execute strategic plans for Mastery Summits, Mindvalley University, and Mastery Programs to maximize business ROI.
  • Revenue Generation: Implement initiatives and strategies to maximize revenue generation from program participation, ticket sales, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Programme Coordination: Spearhead the planning, coordination, and execution of Mastery Summits and Mindvalley University, ensuring a transformative and engaging experience for participants.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain profitable relationships with authors, expert speakers, sponsors, and partners to enhance program offerings and drive revenue.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between departments such as Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Business Operations to ensure alignment with commercial objectives and optimize collaboration for profitability.
  • Program Development: Oversee the development of program content, ensuring it not only meets the diverse needs of participants but also enhances the profitability of offerings through effective pricing strategies, upselling opportunities, and value-added components.
  • Financial Management: Manage program budgets effectively, monitoring expenses, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining program quality and participant satisfaction.
  • Innovation and Optimization: Implement innovative strategies and leverage technology to enhance the profitability and overall success of Mastery programs, continually seeking opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Technical Skills:

  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze program performance metrics, financial data, and market trends to make informed decisions and optimize profitability.
  • Financial Management: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to effectively manage program budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue maximization.
  • Marketing and Sales: Understanding of marketing principles, sales strategies, and customer segmentation to drive program participation and revenue generation.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of complex programs, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are utilized efficiently.

Soft Skills:

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive collective efforts towards achieving business objectives.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey program objectives, strategies, and expectations to internal teams, external partners, and program participants.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to secure profitable partnerships, sponsorships, and contracts that align with business goals and enhance program profitability.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges, analyze root causes, and develop creative solutions to overcome obstacles and drive continuous improvement in program profitability.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to navigate a dynamic business environment, respond to changing market conditions, and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain profitability.
  • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and preferences to tailor program offerings, pricing strategies, and value-added services that enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is often required. A master's degree or MBA may be preferred.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in program management, event planning, or business development, preferably in a commercial or profit-driven environment. 
  • Experience in the education or personal development industry may be beneficial. Familiarity with the education, personal development, or online learning industry, including an understanding of industry trends, competitors, and best practices, is beneficial for effectively positioning programs and driving profitability.
