Step 1 Application
When you find a particular role that interests you, go ahead and hit that ‘Apply’ button - it will take you straight to a form through which you can submit everything required. Not sure which opening best suits your background? Don’t worry, we review all applicants in regards to all opportunities that strike us as a fit. Step 2 Shortlisting
Once you submit your application, it goes through a pre-screening. If we find a match, then your profile is shortlisted and we will contact you to arrange the next step of the process (which could either be a practical test or your first interview, depending on what role you applied for).
Step 3 Mindvalley Interviews
If you’re located outside Malaysia, we will arrange online interviews. If you’re already here, we’ll invite you to our office. We usually organize up to 4 rounds of interviews, and you will have an opportunity to speak to a member of our Culture Team, your potential peers, your manager, and a member of our Executive Team. The interviews are a chance to get to know each other better, and for you to tell us what makes you stand out from the crowd. You can share your career goals, your skills and strengths, as well as areas where you would like to grow. You will get insights into life at Mindvalley and our culture. It’s also a great opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
Step 4 Reference Checks
Before we extend the official offer, we will ask you to provide us with reference contacts of peers and supervisors from your previous workplaces. We will check in with them via email or phone to gain some more perspective on our potential future colleague (that’s you!).
Step 5 The Offer
If you’re successful, you’ll be offered a job. Congratulations, you are about to become an official member of the Mindvalley team!
So you’ve had your Mindvalley interviews, passed the reference check and received the offer letter. What happens next?
If you’re an international candidate, we’ll make sure that your on-boarding and visa process goes smoothly. After receiving final confirmations, you can go ahead and book your ticket to Kuala Lumpur. We hire all year round and usually have a group of new hires joining us in the first week of each month. It averagely takes about one to two months from receiving the offer to stepping into our office for your first day at work.
Our People Team will send you all documents together with our pre-arrival employee handbook. We created it especially for our new hires so that they are introduced to Mindvalley, our culture and day-to-day life in the company. On your first day, a series of e-mails will bombard your inbox. We will also set you up with a company MacBook (everybody gets one), give you a tour of the headquarters, introduce you to everyone and teach you how to operate the coffee machine.
You will be exposed to Induction Sessions and Introductory Training that will help you build a deeper understanding of your new job before you hit the ground running. Throughout your employment you will gain functional skills, in addition to unique exposure to different cultures and ways of working.
